guided by a beating heart
so wake me up when it's all over, when i'm wiser and i'm older. all this time i was finding myself and i didn't know i was lost. i tried carrying the weight of the world, but i only have two hands. hope i get the chance to travel the world, but i don't have any plans. wish that i could stay forever this young, not afraid to close my eyes. life's a game made for everyone love is the prize.
everyone calls them the clique. and yeah, they call themselves that too. they meet up with each other at gatherings and joke about changing the world, mocking their leaders and their deputies, and those so concerned with politics and clan appearances. it’s pathetic, really. but it’s all in good’s fun, after all, the main reason why they banded together is that they enjoy each other’s company. isn’t that a good enough reason? but then, the sparks start to fly. the group begins talks of revolution, social change; but only talk can go so far. or so they think, as people start listening after the harsh winter and battles that came due to petty arguments.
