what are sub plots? instead of having a site-wide plot, these sub plots weave together to create a basic history of the site as time goes on. sub plots are opportunities for you to change the course of your clan's current path and they do not have any specific order. they are fun ways to contribute to your clan and meet other people who also wish to plot.
how do i join a sub plot? simply go to the sub plots board, fill out the form, and you will be added to the plot. you may begin plotting as soon as someone else joins the plot with you. these plots do have maximum sign ups and do not repeat, so once someone claims the plot, it means it will not be given out again.
where is the application? we are a no-app shipper-centric site. this means you do not make an application for your character, but a shipper or "plot page." once that is finished, simply go to the sign-ups board to fill out your creation form. you will be promptly sorted and added to your clan.
i want more characters. how can i get them? you buy them. each in-character post awards you 5 mouse tails. every character added onto your beginning five will require 100 mouse tails, which is roughly 20 posts. you may use mouse tails from any account to get these characters, and you may combine mouse tails to buy your character additions or character slots from our prey shop.
why can't i join as an out-of-clanner? our site revolves around the goings on of in-clan life, meaning out of clan cats would be excluded from our sub-plots. they are generally not popular characters. however, your character is free to have been a loner, rogue, or kittypet before joining a clan, just pm a leader to make sure they accept those kinds of characters.
how do i make kits? kits will be generated in the "new-life" board. you must have an eligible mother and an eligible father present ad created on-site. there is no pre-requisite to make kittens, but a female may only breed five times a month. the maximum litter of kittens is 6 and the minimum litter is 0. the kittens will be generated based on the genetic makeup of the mother and father. unless a sub-plot otherwise specifics, if two cats of different clans mate, the kits will always go to the mother's clan, meaning the father forfeits any rights to the kittens. kittens are produced two weeks after the kitten request is posted. note that you may join as a queen, but they still need an on-site mate to make kits.
