on togl, high positions are given more power than on other sites. the three of them work together to manage their clans, although each has different responsibilities for managing the clan. below are the tasks and requirements for each position.
LEADER a leader is the head of a clan. they are responsible for managing their clan sub-plots, clan hierarchy, and clan members. a leader will create meeting posts as necessary when an apprentice needs graduation or the leader needs to share important news. they must be thoughtful of the sub plots and how they will affect the clan and decide for themselves what cats they will accept and what cats they will not. the minimum word count for a leader is 350.
deputies deputies are in charge of moderating patrols, in character adventures members can partake in. if the clan leader is absent, they will take over the leadership position until they return. it is not guaranteed that a deputy will become a leader should the leader be inactive or deleted, but if they have shown the staff they can handle the responsibility, they will succeed their leader. the minimum word count for a deputy is 200
medicine cats medicine cats have the unique privelage of creating and translating omens or prophecies. with an admin's permission, they may create prophecies from starclan that will affect their clan. they are in charge of herbal remedies and are often consulted by leaders. while medicine cats may not have kits unless a sub plot states, they are not bound by clan boundaries and are free to travel in other clan's lands as long as they do not cause a disturbance. the minimum word count for a medicine cat is 200.
