reveled without a care
call all the ladies out, they’re in their finery. a hundred jewels on throats, a hundred jewels between teeth. now bring my boys in; their skin in craters like the moon. the moon we love like a brother, while he glows through the room. dancing around the lies we tell, dancing around big eyes as well. even the comatose, they don’t dance and tell. we live in cities you'll never see on screen; not very pretty, but we sure know how to run things. living in ruins of a palace within my dreams, and you know, we're on each other's team.
13 slots open; 4 clans
the first rule of fight club: don’t talk about fight club.
seriously though, if you do, you’ll probably find yourself in the claws of all the leaders with a few mothers and angry clan mates on the side. and nobody wants that.
the club was set up four moons ago by warriors FIGHT1 along with the best friend FIGHT2 as a way to blow off steam and deal with the pressures of daily life. they didn’t know how popular their little venture would be, and though the club is top secret, the whispers grew and grew. a pretty smart guy, FIGHT2 thought they had it all figured out by changing locations, and the secret password, of course: vitam aut mortem. so when an undercover right-hand to the leader (OFFICER1) managed to infiltrate the group and bring FIGHT4, FIGHT5, and FIGHT6 to their leaders, both FIGHT1 and FIGHT2 were running scared.
enter SUPPORT1, power-hungry son of former rule-breaking OFFICER1, with big dreams of proving him/herself to his/her family and his/her clan. SUPPORT1 was interested in the fight club since the very beginning. it was violent, dangerous, and risky.. three things that suited SUPPORT1 very well. SUPPORT1 offered a deal— protection. in return for fake lies and keeping the OFFICERS looking the wrong way, SUPPORT1 was given underlying loyalty and control of the club.
and it wasn’t long before the fight club became entwined with clan tensions and politics and more death-defying battles and fights than ever before. FIGHT1 and FIGHT2 aren’t sure if this is what they wanted, but now it seems as though they’re in too deep to back out. they know that if the club goes down, they'll go down with it. but SUPPORT1 is powerful, and FIGHT1 and FIGHT2 can only imagine their fate if they were to question their new business partner.
as for SUPPORT1, they know that a club like this is not the kind of investment that the OFFICERS would want connections to. in fact, when word gets out and OFFICER2 starts to hear what the best friend, SUPPORT1 has done and is hiding, it’s conflicting. but it’s already too late for SUPPORT1 to back out now, the FIGHTERS have given SUPPORT1 full responsibility, and is completely fine with that.. at least, SUPPORT1 thinks that s/he’ll be able to handle it. now, it’s just a matter of pride, and even if SUPPORT1 is in over his/her head, there’s no way s/he’ll admit that to anyone.
